NHS Change - In the silence I can hear Doctors scream

NHS Change
The new health minister Sir Ara Darzi, is planning massive change in the NHS in London. This change could then be used as a blueprint for the rest of the country. I'm not going to go into the details of the change, it is not worth it. The point is that the NHS has been in a continual state of flux for years now and the poor bloody staff that have to implement this never ending change are fighting a losing battle. The government need to keep their noses out and let the system settle down. Every system that is introduced is changed just as the staff get to grips with it and efficiency starts to improve.

The government should concentrate on managing correctly what we have got and not just change everything when their targets are not being achieved. Those in the medical profession must be pulling their hair out at the prospect of more change.
