The Forestry Commission has placed an order for £52,000 worth of plastic bags. They say the bags are needed to carry nursery trees for planting. Surely this is like charging a solar panel with a 500 watt lamp? There's got to be a better way to transport these trees. I'm no eco-nut but this just plain crazy.
