Lisbon Treaty - Lib Dem MPs are to stand down tonight.

The fallout from Nick Cleggs ridiculous position on the Lisbon Treaty referendum as already started to settle. Sky News reports:

Countryside spokesman Tim Farron, justice spokesman David Heath and Alistair Carmichael, who speaks on Scotland and Northern Ireland, will step down after they have voted on a Tory amendment to the Treaty which calls for a referendum.
This will be a very long day for the Lib Dems. It could also be the beginning of the end of their party.

UPDATE: Alistair Carmichael and Tim Farron have resigned.
