Gordon Brown - James Purnell a challenger?

James Purnell has thrown his hat into the ring as a challenger to replace Gordon Brown. His special adviser Phil Collins has stuck the boot into Brown: "In the drama of British politics a Labour tragedy is unfolding. A combination of strategic errors, political mishaps and bad luck has left the party in a vulnerable position.

Brilliant! From day one there will be jokes from all over the place about him being the Photoshop Prime Minister. They don't need to replace all those pictures of Gordon on the various websites he appears on; just swap the heads.
