William Hill - Brown 7/4 To Be Out This Year

WILLIAM HILL have slashed their odds about Gordon Brown ceasing to be Prime Minister THIS year from 25/1 when he took office to current odds of just 7/4, following Labour's disastrous result in the Crewe by-election.

And Hills are now offering 6/5 that Brown will NOT lead Labour into the next General Election.
THE CONSERVATIVES ARE NOW 1/3 FAVOURITES TO WIN THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION WITH WILLIAM HILL - THE SHORTEST ODDS THEY HAVE EVER BEEN SINCE LOSING POWER. LABOUR ARE 9/4, THE LONGEST THEY HAVE BEEN FOR OVER TEN YEARS, WITH THE LIB DEMS THE 66/1 OUTSIDERS. Hills offer 7/4 that there will be ba Hung Parliament.

With Gordon Brown's Leadership of the Party under pressure William Hill have installed David Miliband as 5/2 favourite to succeed him, and also offer 7/1 Alan Johnson and Jack Straw; 8/1 Ed Balls; 9/1 J Denham; J Purnell; 14 A Burnham and J Cruddas.
