Irish Referendum on the Lisbon Treaty - Funny.

I came across this on The Tap Blog. I had to post on here as it cheered me up so much. Fine Gael, the biggest Party in Ireland's pro-EU governing coalition erected this voting meter in a Dublin mall. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Can you imagine the scramble to turn it off when they realised what was happening?

I like it! Every town should have one, especially over here, just to show the strength of feeling and why we must have our referendum here too.

Much as I'd like them to be, Fine Gael are neither the biggest party, nor in the governing coalition.

I corrected the errors on Fine Gael on my blog . Apologies. Must take a course on Irish politics - so many similar sounding names!
