AFTER winning the 42 day vote, Gordon Brown is quoted at 1/ 2 by William Hill to remain as PM until the next General Election and at 6/4 to step down before that date.
Hills also make Brown 6/1 to cease to be PM during 2008.
'This is the first piece of even remotely good news Gordon Brown has had for some while - he will be hoping he has turned the tide, but there are still many more political punters wanting to bet that he'll be out before the Election than that he will survive' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
