Labourhome Grassroots survey - Gordon Brown must go.

From The Herald:

Labour's grassroots delivered yet another blow to Gordon Brown's leadership last night when an eve-of-conference poll showed a majority want someone else to take over as Prime Minister. Foreign Secretary David Miliband is the preferred choice.

The online survey of just under 800 Labour supporters found 54% want a new leader before the next General Election while 46% believe Mr Brown should stay. The poll by Labourhome.org said 57% believe there should be a leadership vote at the Manchester conference, which begins on Sunday, while 43% think there should not.

Of the preferred alternatives as leader, Mr Miliband, who ruffled feathers recently by calling for "radical" change, came out on top, polling 24.6%.

Not a great way to start a conference - being told by the majority of your grassroot support that they want rid of you. I'm glad this has happened. I've been fuming all day at Brown having the gall to claim he was responsible for the takeover of HBOS by Lloyds TSB. And then he had the neck to say he would "clean up" the financial system. Does he think that the public are so thick that they don't know "Who exactly was regulating and presiding over dirty markets over the last 11 years?"

This is rubbish Labour home is not labour party activits. I used it to put put pro labour views and was banned. It is not pro labour party website. It is privately rtun website with no direct connection to the party or activitsts in any sense. I got a strem of abuse from labiouyr home users for supporting the party, and was then banned while abusive troy trolls were kept on. It is a survey of random people who happen to use the labour home website. it is not a website of labour party activists.

DES,

I've never been able to work out if you just a mad Labour supporter, or a Tory troll out to make the Labour party look stupid.

If you are a genuine Labour supporter who believes Brown is great, then you are in the minority. Make sure you turn off the lights and close the door on your way out of the bunker.
