Taking a small break from the blog.

I won't be blogging for a while. My Dad passed away this evening after suffering from vascular disease. I'm glad he is finally at peace, dieing slowly cannot always be done with dignity. Thankfully he died quietly in his sleep.

Anthony Michael Green 1931-2008 RIP.

May I add my condolences. Such a happening comes to most of us but it's never easy to deal with.

There's not much one can say in times like this. My condolences to you and your family. Death comes to us all eventually, but it's always a shock when it knocks on your loved ones' door.

I've enjoyed your writing Steve and I look forward to your return.

My condolences. May your father rest in peace.

There is always a feeling of disbelief when a parent dies, no matter how much the event is anticipated - or even longed for, as was the my case when my father took a long time to die. The world somehow shifts on its axis, a bit.

May good memories comfort you.
