Tom Harris is a little surprised at the blogosphere's lack of interest over the announcement that the government are not going to allow the Bailiffs to kick our doors in (not just yet anyway). Is Tom suggesting that we should be applauding this move? Tom says: Labour denies bailiffs the right to enter property; blogscape refuses to notice.
I'm missing something here, Tom wants us to thank Labour for delaying illiberal proposal that THEY made as part of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act? How does piss off grab you Tom?
Oh, and did you know that under current law, bailiffs can only force entry if they have been previously invited into the house by the debtor - just like Vampires.
Oh, and one more thing - the only reason Jack Straw has put a stop to affront to liberty is that under the current economical climate it will lose Labour desperately needed votes.
