Gurkha settlement - The government's dishonourable discharge.

How long have we (the public) been asking for a fair deal for our Gurkha veterans? I could list all sorts of stories, I could mention the medals won, the numbers dead, the injuries, the dedication, the service. But would I be wasting my time? this government just don't get it do they? For God's sake, they don't even support our troops who are fighting for us now, never mind our veterans. I don't know whether it is better to tell people to wait until we have a Conservative government to get this sorted once and for all. Brown it seems, just does not care.

There is a petition you can sign, but I don't hold any hope in Gordon Brown giving a damn no matter how many people sign it.
