I want Gordon Brown to resign.

I've had enough. I'm sick of what is as good as theft of taxpayers money by Government Ministers. I'm sick of the pathetic mess Gordon Brown has made of our economy. But most of all I'm sickened by a Prime Minister who presides over such a dirty organisation.

David Cameron is right to ask for an apology from Gordon Brown. However, he should also be demanding that he resigns.

When any other scandal breaks, the person in charge takes the responsibility and loses their job i.e the lost data discs (remember Paul Gray of HMRC). Well in my opinion Gordon Brown is responsible for what goes on in his office. When his head of strategy and planning mounts such a disgusting smear campaign, then he must know about it, or he has set the mood for it to occur (like Nixon). Either way he must take responsibility for his office.

I pay my taxes, I'm a registered voter and I NO LONGER WANT GORDON BROWN TO WORK FOR ME.

Gordon Brown - You're fired! (Oh how I wish I had that power).

UPDATE: I've just had a thought. If Gordon's head of strategy and planning has quit, who will be advising Gordon on how to deal with this situation? Because he must apologise for what has happened, is he now doing an headless chicken act? Is he on the phone to Damian? Or is he smashing it?

I want him to go too and I've said the same on my blog. The man is an utter embarrassment and a nasty piece of work.

Oh my God - me too. I really wish the Tories would bring about a vote of no confidence. I despise everything he and his despicable cronies are doing. The country has gone to rack and ruin and I hold HIM personally responsible. He MUST be forced out.

Andrew, Tory,

I'm sure any other PM would have done the honourable thing by now.

He ain't gonna be forced out by anyone. That's just fantasy. He will do everything he can to hang on to power for as long as he can. He won't be doing it for the good of the people of this country because he doesn't care what they want. He is a communist and he knows best.

He's probably got Derek Dirty Dick-sucking Donkey-fu**ing Draper advising him.

I'd like him to at least call an election and let the people decide- of course he won't do that and mess with the economy further.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Valkyrie moment. As Labour gets more and more desperate, they ease him out. I think it may be worse than that. I have a feeling something will cause him to resign in disgrace.

Brown may be all the things said of him by the commenters above, but who will do the worthy deed in removing him? It would need a determined effort by Cameron and support from the LDs and from a considerable rump of Labour MPs.

I suppose that even if a no-confidence vote were to fail, the exercise might now achieve a further weakening of Brown's precarious position, rather than bringing Labour dissidents back into the Party line as would often be the case with such attempts.

Brown will never resign, he will use any means possible to cling on to power. Brown will never apologise either, and even if he does, it is really much too late now. He should have apologised immediately. He has no class. He is really his own worst enemy. Campbell (if it was he) was right when he said Brown is psycologically flawed.

I think Brown will put his own ambitions above Country and Party, thus I think David Cameron should call for a motion of no confidence in Parliament, and let it be known now that is his plan.
