George Osborne takes on Bodger and Badger in the Chancellors debate.

George Osborne will be thrashing it out with Bodger and Badger in the Chancellors debate tonight (Ask the Chancellors). The debate takes place at 8pm on C4 and lasts for about an hour. I have full confidence in George to wipe the floor with them. Of course, Bodger and Badger will probably gang up on him.

Hi, I can see you're a big conservative fan...

But surely all of the Big3 have been part of a Parliament which allowed a record £167bn deficit to go unchecked?

We're all paying the price for it now. Hasn't dealing with the problem given way to electioneering?

Ben,

No.

Adn the result was that only Vince got any applause, only Vince said the unpalatable things and only one of the three looked at of his depth. You work out which one.

Nick,

Like all Lib Dems, Cable could say anything he wanted because he is irrelevant to the debate. Lib Dems will continue to be the third party. Osborne did well to fight off the two lefties.

Cable follows the same stupid policies as the rest of them. The end result was inevitable.

Osborn? Jesus. He'd have been even more free market than New Labour and I dread to imagine the shit he'd have dropped us in. To believe otherwise is to be so partisan as to willfully miss the blindingly obvious.
