Just to let you all know that a British Government MORI survey of parents was published today and the majority (no doubt to be ignored as usual) all agreed - "School discipline has deteriorated because teachers are no longer allowed to use the cane on unruly pupils."

I don't think I voted in this poll but the result does not surprise me.
