Fifteen British Navy personnel have been captured at gunpoint by Iranian forces

Fifteen British Navy personnel have been captured at gunpoint by Iranian forces, the Ministry of Defence says.

This is why we should stop and reverse the cut backs to our armed forces.

Iran see the UK as weak and feel safe that they can capture our personnel as retribution for our criticism of their regime in the news recently.

Agreed. And did you know the cutbacks were as bad as this?

Fat chance of our political class doing anything about the situation. We're at the mercy of Iran. God help us.

Why won't politicans learn from the past..WWII, falklands cutting the military have NEVER worked, not once all it has done is made our proud country look week in the eyes of nations that would seek to do us harm. I can't stand these hopeless politicians and their vote grabbing scams. In my eyes these recent events in my eyes are an act of war, but what in the world are we going to send to fight the iranians...4 offshore patrol boats and some frigates.
