Hazel Blears must not have received Gordon Brown's order not to attack the opposition. She did not mention names, but I think it's quite obvious who she is talking about: "Because the last thing a modern, diverse, international-class capital like London needs is a fogeyish, bigoted and upper-class twit for its mayor. "
Perhaps Hazel prefers a fogeyish, bigoted, and communist twit for mayor instead?
