£1m for a Brown Bottle. (Labour election bill).

I had to laugh when I heard the news that Labour (who were not that serious about an autumn election) are allegedly facing a bill of £1 million for their election that "never was" campaign. Advertising had been paid for, staff had been hired and letters to supporters in marginal seats had been printed. Now, that seems a little over the top if we are to believe Brown was only considering an election. I think we can now safely say that it was an outright lie to say that the Polls had nothing to do with his decision. You don't spend £1 million when you are already running a deficit, unless you are going for it.

Brown did bottle it, and his loss of nerve cost the Labour party £1 million.

Just add the million to the existing party debt and write it off with the proceeds from the sale of honours.

Grendal, anon and Mr Gruff,

It's just lie upon lie from Brown. And I think you are right Mr Gruff, dirty money will pay the bill.
