Is there something in the offing? Labour Troll alert.

Just a quick one. Go to Iain Dales blog and go to Consevativehome and look for posts about Gordon Brown or Labour published in the last few days. Look in the comments and you will find more labour trolls than conservative visitors. Look for the disinformation. These are clever trolls. These aren't your common all garden variety. These look like pros. They use names but not google names. They big up conservative MPs, at the cost of others. Example: George Osborne seems to be getting a slating and John Redwood is being touted as his replacement by groups of anonymous posters. This seems to be organised and centrally controlled. What's the answer?

Is there something big in the offing, or are they just trying to save a dead party by wrecking the Conservatives?

Trolls just make a nuisance of themselves, and talking about John Redwood in that way is no different. He's a bloody smart man but trying to encourage back-stabbing in the Conservatives is pretty pointless.

Ah, so that's what it's all about! I wondered what was going on.

We already know that Livingstone's professional Spin-Army spends a lot of time posting comments on various 'blogs, so this seems to be an extension of the same level of campaigning in the same medium.

Labour trolls generally give themselves away in the end, however clever or professionally-trained they turn out to be. I suppose it's something in their make-up: if they are supporters of that kind of party, they can never escape what of necessity goes with such an outlook, so can be spotted and safely ignored.

Actually, it all goes to show just how desperate they are becoming, otherwise they wouldn't have felt the need to mount such a large-scale campaign and in this way. I take enormous comfort from that knowledge...

I'm loathe to countenance any conspiracy theory type ideas but you do put forward a case that seems to have more than a little merit.

Thanks for the input guys. I've received info from a reliable source that this is actually going on. Maybe conservative bloggers are a little slow implementing a similar program.
