Steve,

All the best. We native Brits have to ensure there are still a few of our own around in the next generation! For my part I have 3. keep us informed of progress and enjoy a large glass of something strong when baby does arrive.

Good luck to you all - but beware the maternity hospital. It might as well have a neon sign flashing above it saying-its all you fault you selfish bastard which lights up every time a man walks underneath it.

Still no sign?

Robin,

No mate that was just the scan pictures I posted.

Mr Gruff,

No sign yet, the little bugger must like it where he is.

MIAS,

Too right. This is our fourth kid and it's still all my fault.

'The little bugger' is obviously very cosey where he is. All of mine overstayed their welcome and had to be induced, they were so keen to stay put!

It looks as though he could turn into a very tenacious little blogger.

Hang in there Steve, we're all rooting for you.

I find the topic that you posted 9 months ago... very enlightening...

"Sex abstinence programmes are like snooze buttons on smoke alarms."

... and no batteries!

"It turns out that Sex abstinence programmes are a total and utter waste of time."

... goes without saying.

"The problem we have in the UK is the emergence of the Silver Ring Thing which was set up four years ago to promote sexual abstinence among young people."

... sorry mate... my mistake... you were referring to young people.

"Thinking of buying into a Sex abstinence programme? You might as well fit a snooze button to your smoke alarm while you are in the mood to do something totally useless."

I think you have made your position very clear... good luck!

Harry.

I hope your waiting will be over very soon. Congratulations from Becky and me when little Freddie does arrive.

William Gruff said...

I'm sure that even as I write this Steve is getting under the midwife's feet, as I did more than twenty six years ago, but the worst thing about being consigned to the waiting room is being a non smoker.

News Steve, news, and soon!

Hope everything is OK!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Green ... I hope this info I found on the internet will prove useful...

"Will childbirth affect your Blog?

Yes, it certainly will! So please don’t expect that everything will instantly return to normal. Men are particularly likely to believe this; a lot of young blokes think that they’ll be able to blog as soon as their partner gets home from hospital. But that just isn’t true.

You see, childbirth is a pretty traumatic process for a woman. Furthermore, childbirth involves very considerable hormone changes – as well as emotional stresses. Therefore, very, very few women feel supportive of late night blogging until a long time after they have given birth.

Therefore, it’s important for both mother and father to realise that blogging may not go brilliantly in the first six months or so after Baby arrives. So be prepared - and be patient!"

Luv,

Hookie.

Steve, congragulations to you both. Looks like you caught him sleeping or is he like that all the time? I know mine weren't!

We all look forward to your return to the fray in due course, once things return to some sort of normality!

Steve,

Sorry I am late with the congratulations, been working away.

I trust that Mother and baby are doing fine, and you are suitably inebriated.

Well done!!
