My favourite song of all time (today anyway) is 'Welcome to the Black Parade' from the album 'The Black Parade' by the excellent My Chemical Romance. When played loud this song seems to resonate at the same frequency as my soul. There's quite a (what I find) beautiful story behind the concept of the album. The concept centers around a man called "The Patient" and follows his passage out of life and the memories he has of his life. The story behind the concept is Gerard Way's (lead singer) belief that death comes for a person in the form of their fondest memory.
In my case Death will appear in the form of my big brother Shaun (sadly not with us anymore), he'll be walking through the woods telling jokes and laughing. He'll put his hand in his jacket pocket and pull out a couple of boiled eggs and salt in a twist of tinfoil. We'll walk under the trees eating our eggs while I laugh my head off at his funny stories.
How will Death come for you?
If you click on the image above it will take you to the Black Parade Youtube video. Turn it right up!

Something you ate last night not agree with you, Steve?

That can happen. There once was a time when Mrs Thatcher was visiting a cannibal tribe with a very Leftie chief, and there were fears for Maggie's safety. The local embassy enquired, and back came the message:" It's safe: he never eats anyone who disagrees with him."
(Heard on Ken Bruce, circa 1987)
I have been thinking about the question posed, and still cannot pick out one really fond memory from all the rest. I have so many, which in itself is great; but it makes it hard to choose 'the one'...
