If your party is consistently performing poorly in the polls and you have to change your policies to imitate another party, then surely your party is dead and buried. Lib Dem policies of the past have proved to be wishy-washy pie in the sky and the people have tried them and realised that they just don't work. We have soft prisons, poor discipline in schools, a shameless society and a weak police force - not to mention a generation of kids who have been taught that competition is unfair. It's been a hard lesson for all of us, and it will take a long time to reverse the damage caused. Lib Dems reading this will say how can you blame us for the state of the country when we haven't been in power for ages? Well I think you have. The Labour party has been a haven for Liberals desperate for power, who have realised that they have no chance of achieving their ambitions with the Lib Dems.
Nick Clegg is taking up a Conservative position because he has woken up to the fact that the country has had enough of Social liberalism and Social democracy. We have a generation of underclass who know no shame and think it is their right to live off the tax payer. We have a criminal system that seems geared around the rights of the criminal rather than the victim. We have thousands of kids who have been diagnosed with ADHD, when in fact many are just obnoxious and unruly little thugs in need of discipline. We have a convention on human rights which makes it impossible to eject those who would do us harm from our own country. We have a government willing to give away our sovereignty to a EU superstate without a promised democratic vote.
I look forward to a Conservative government. I look forward to an era of common sense leadership to drag our nation out of its descent into the gutter.

Well, I don't recall you Tories being green, till DC came along.
Tonight Matthew, I will be a Liberal Conservative...the heir to Blair.
