I can only agree with what has been said by earlier commenters; and of course I have posted the clip on my own 'blog with a tip o' the hat to here (as I always do in such cases).
Cameron is mistaken in saying that sovereignty lies with Parliament; it actually lies with the EU, since Her Majesty assented to the Lisbon Accord. He made a few other mistakes as well, not the least of which was assuming that his audience has no understanding of parliamentary protocol. For all her faults, Mrs Thatcher at least knew how to 'put it across' without seeming to condescend.
Grooovey Dave is unlikely to lead the 'United' Kingdom with anything approaching a popular majority in England, nor a working majority at Westminster.
