If "75% of the public did not want" the Royal Mail privatisation to go ahead, then of course he'll go ahead with it. Gordon Brown seems to do exactly what the majority of the public oppose the majority of the time. He's an imbecile of the highest order.

TP,
As I said on Iain Dale's blog earlier:
If Brown jumped out of a burning boat, the idiot would probably miss the water.
Don't you mean if Brown's lips are moving he is telling us lies.
Royal mail Privatisation has to go ahead - under the EU rules agreed to several years ago by this sorry shambles of a government, they have no choice.
Had Brown gone for an elction and maybe just sneaked a win in late 2007 - it would now be a fait accompli.
If the dopey gits had lost an election earlier this year, they could have blamed the sale on the Tories.
They wimped out twice and now they are going to get spanked for their EU/self/party/country policy.
All lies and spin as usual, he is hell bent on privatising everything!
Yes and Mandelson is saying that we will "obviously" join the Euro

Unelected and disgraced scum.
