"YouTube if you want to, but it is no substitute for knocking on doors or setting up a stall in the town centre. "We need to have a relationship with the voters based on shared instincts and emotions. "We need to start showing we understand the instincts, fears, hopes and emotions of the broad mass of British people."If that is not one big dig a Gordon Brown, then I don't know what is. And she does seem to be telling us how she would do things better.
On the Gurkha fiasco Hazel said the government was: "on the wrong side of the British sense of fair play, and no party can stay there for long without dire consequences".
"Labour ministers have a collective responsibility for the government's lamentable failure to get our message across. "Whatever the problems of the recession, the answer is not more government documents or big speeches."

Hazel Blears has just thrown her hat into the ring. She's had a go at Gordon Brown in an interview for the Observer:

She would get crucified, there is no way the Sister-in-Chief would allow a rival!
"YouTube if you want to. The lady's not for turning!"
Oh PLEASE let Hazel Blears become the next Labour Regime leader!!!!.
Labour out of Power indefinitely!!!!!.
"Labour ministers have a collective responsibility for the government's lamentable failure to get our message across. "
That sentence is 5 words too long.
Oh my God YES! A nymphomaniac-chipmunk-hells angel as Labour Leader! Couldn't really get better for the Tories! ;-)
Blears or Harman as their next leader would be idesl. It would keep Labour out of government for many years…
Miss Blears's remarks triggered panic inside Number 10. Within an hour of the article being made public she issued a statement backing Mr Brown and seeking to "clarify" her position.
"I want to make it clear that the Prime Minister enjoys my 100 per cent support. Any suggestion that I intended what I wrote as criticism of him or his leadership is completely wrong," her statement said.
What lies. She had a go then caved in when given a bollocking.
