Three men have been charged over threats on Gordon Brown.

Further to my earlier post: Three men have been charged over alleged threats to assassinate Gordon Brown. The three had been held in custody for 14 days and the police had to either charge the men, apply for an extension of custody or release them. The men have been charged with terror offences.

I should think so too, the last thing anyone who wants this odious man and his government out of power is for anything nasty to happen to him and for Labour to pick up sympathy votes.

And the prisons are overcrowded already. But seriously, if these men are found guilty of what they have been charged with, then the police have done a good job.

Hmmm, all seems a bit random. Strange that Brown and Obama have both suddenly become assasination targets when their poll ratings need a serious boost - or am I being too cynical?
