Cameron promises sanctions on fraud Lord's.

David CameronDavid Cameron has announced that the Conservatives would change the law to enable tougher sanctions on any Lord found guilty of wrongdoing. David said:
"What is completely wrong is that members of the House of Lords can behave badly, can break every code of ethics in the book and yet they cannot be suspended or expelled from that House of Parliament. So we would change the law."
This policy mirrors a post I wrote on the subject on Monday and it is good to see that Cameron still seems to be in touch with the public mood.

There is no need for new legislation, as Raedwald points out, and if Grooovey Dave really wanted to get tough he could have taken action already.
